WTSC is proud to welcome Taylor Steele and Jacob Marsh, from Disney On Ice for a development day both on and off the ice.

Get to Know Taylor & Jacob

Jacob Marsh and Taylor Steele are a husband-and-wife principal skating duo with Disney On Ice, best known for bringing the beloved characters of Flynn Rider and Rapunzel to life. Together, they have performed around the world, captivating audiences with their chemistry, storytelling, and shared love for the sport.

Jacob grew up training as an ice dancer in Ilderton, Ontario, before continuing his development in Waterloo and later at the Arctic Edge Ice Arena in Canton, Michigan. At 19, he joined Disney On Ice as an ensemble skater, beginning his touring career across the United States. Through hard work and dedication, he advanced from ensemble to specialty performer, eventually becoming a principal skater. For the past decade, Jacob has also served as the show’s Skate Technician—maintaining equipment and supporting fellow skaters across the production. To date, he has performed in over 40 countries and 46 U.S. states and will soon embark on another European tour.

Taylor began skating in Sarnia, Ontario, and went on to represent Team Canada as a competitive pair skater at the senior level, competing internationally on the ISU Junior and Senior Grand Prix circuits. Following her competitive career, she transitioned into professional show skating, performing in Hot Ice and Holiday on Ice before joining Disney On Ice,where she has been a principal skater for the past eleven years.

Together, Jacob and Taylor have built a life centered around performance, travel, and creativity. Taylor has visited over 20 countries through skating and continues to be inspired by the opportunity to perform and connect with audiences around the world. Off the ice, she is a certified Skate Canada coach, professional makeup artist, online university student, and lifestyle content creator. Jacob is a trained coach in sailing and skiing, as well as a professional photographer who loves capturing their adventures on and off the road.

When they’re not performing, the pair enjoys staying active through running and cycling—and can almost always be found exploring new coffee shops in each city they visit. They’re passionate about sharing their journey as athletes, artists, and partners, inspiring others to pursue their passions wherever the ice may take them.
