What is the Waterford Tricenturena Skating Club Carnival?

It’s an annual year-end show hosted by the Waterford Tricenturena Skating Club (WTSC) to celebrate the progress and talents of skaters. Participants of all levels perform themed routines for family, friends, and the community.

When and where is the 2026 Carnival?

The 2026 Carnival is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Waterford Tricenturena.

Who can participate?

All skaters registered in a Winter 2026 skating program with WTSC are eligible to participate.

How do I register my child to participate?

Participants must already be enrolled in a Winter 2026 skating program. 

Do participants need costumes?

Yes, WTSC provides most costume elements, often reusing items from their costume store. Participants may need to supply basic items like black pants or tops. Details about costumes will be shared closer to the event date.

What can I expect from the carnival?

The carnival is a fun and family-friendly event where skaters showcase routines choreographed around a unique theme. Past themes include “Party Like it’s 1999” and “A Night at the Grammys”. The theme for 2026 will be “Icons on Ice”.

Will there be a rehearsal?

Yes, a dress rehearsal is usually scheduled before the carnival to ensure skaters are ready. WTSC will provide details about rehearsal dates and times.

Is the event open to spectators?

Yes, spectators are welcome! Ticket information will be shared by WTSC closer to the event.

How much do tickets cost?

Ticket prices and sales information will be announced by WTSC. Tickets have traditionally been available for purchase at the Waterford Arena during program times.
